Welcome to Opti-U
Opti-U is a program designed to improve the quality of our member’s lives through lessons on Nutrition, Fitness, Relationships, Communication, Time, Rejuvenation, Celebration, Finance and Purpose. Sessions are integrative, interactive and designed to build upon each member’s life experiences and journey. Opti-Life staff and community presenters guide members through each session and offer individual coaching throughout the session.
Learn to use Mindful Self-Compassion to enhance mental toughness and exercise performance. The 3 components of Mindful Self-Compassion; Mindfulness, Self-Kindness, and Sense of Common Humanity, will each be discussed. The workshop will explain how these 3 components can aid us when we experience painful and distressing feelings and break us from a negative and unhealthy cycle, thereby improving our exercise outcomes.

Hormones are chemical messengers that your brain produces to regulate many vital body functions. Hormonal imbalance may cause any one or all of these problems: weight gain, fatigue, low libido, dry skin, poor sleep, bad moods, dropped motivation, poor mental focus, weak muscles, and the list goes on. In this talk, we will discuss the major hormones in our body, with audience participation as to what areas they want the most information on. The talk will also include some tests you may need to diagnose potential issues, as well as medical and non-medical treatment options.
The purpose of Travel Tribe is to bring together people who have an insatiable desire for travel and enjoy sharing and hearing about travel experiences. We also get together for local travel events.
Travel Tribe will be attending the Prairie Hill Vineyard Balloon and Art Festival on Sunday, October 21, 2018
Wine Tribe is a fun group of people who love exploring different wines and sharing their favorites with others. We will be meeting in Opti-U at Opti-Life.
We would like to set this Tribe Meeting to gain feedback on Tribes and really derive a plan for moving forward as how to make these tribes successful. After the last six months we have seen what has worked and what hasn’t worked. Please come and invite those who you feel can positively bring ideas and strengthen our tribes community!
The Faith Tribe is all about encouraging people through the Love of God. We allow members to vent and talk about the issues we deal with and face on a daily basis. We allow different members of the group to lead our monthly discussions and also do group exercise classes to Praise and Worship music. Its always a great time of fellowship.
Almost all of us are familiar with the feeling of having to “unbutton our jeans” because we have over indulged on foods that we just can’t say no too! In this class, our Nutrition Director Stefanie will talk about the reasons WHY we tend to overeat and give you tools to help you overcome it so you can turn STUFFED into SATISFIED!
