Why did you join Opti-Life?
I joined Opti-Life to add some variety to my workouts. After nearly 5 years at another facility, where I did basically the same thing 5 days a week, I wasn’t seeing the results I wanted anymore.
What has been your favorite thing about Opti-Life?
I joke all the time that my favorite thing about Opti-Life is the hand soap! It smells so good!
But seriously, what’s not to love. The facility is beautiful, clean and inviting! The variety of workouts makes it easy to achieves goals no matter what your schedule is. But it’s the people that make Opti-Life very special. From the staff to members, I’m always greeted with a friendly face and positive vibe!
What Inspires you?
I’m inspired by transformation. Whether it be physical, emotional, or spiritual, watching people face challenges and become stronger and better because of it is so uplifting. The physical transformations I’ve witnessed already at Opti-Life have been a huge blessing and great motivation.
What's your favorite healthy snack?
Currently my favorite healthy salty snack is sea salt edamame and my favorite healthy sweet snack is cocoa roasted almonds.
How has Opti-Life improved your life?
Opti-Life has improved my life by giving me the confidence to try new things and realize that we really are stronger than we think. The cycle room isn’t as intimidating anymore. I know what piyo and barre classes are now. I can even (kind of) follow Les Mills choreographed classes and I love them!
If you could have dinner with any one person (past or present) who would you choose?
Hands down, my husband of almost 21 years. Life has been busy raising two boys and we never pass up the chance to have a date.
What is one of your goals for 2018?
My main goal for 2018 is to continue building more strength. I’ve always been primarily a cardio girl, so I’m enjoying Body Pump and the progress I’m seeing from that program.
