Question: What if I decide to cancel my membership? Are there any cancellation fees?
Answer: You may cancel a month-to-month membership with 30 days, written notice to the membership desk. You must fill out a “Member Cancellation Form”. You will be responsible for all balances that are due, plus the last 30 days of the membership. Cancellations need to be made in person with a membership coordinator. Members cannot cancel their membership by fax or email.
Question: Do you offer refunds?
Answer: Opti-Life offers a 30-day Opti-guarantee. If for any reason within the first 30 days you are unhappy with your membership you may cancel your membership for a complete refund. If you complete your Fit Body Consultation, you will not be refunded your Fit Body Consultation Fee.
Question: What are your hours of operation?
Answer: Monday to Thursday 5:00am – 10:00 pm, Friday 5:00am – 9:00pm, Saturday 6:30am – 8:00pm, and Sunday 8:00 am – 6:00pm
Question: Can I bring a guest?
Answer: We offer current members unlimited guests passes. Guest passes cannot be used by an individual more than one time per year. Guests can purchase a day pass for $15 or a week’s pass for $35.
Question: Do you have childcare?
Answer:Yes! Kids Club is open to all members. There is a monthly fee of $15 for the first child and $25 for two or more children. The drop in rate is $5/hour per child.
Question: How do I pay for membership each month?
Answer: We auto draft your checking account each month or you can pay in full for a year at a time. You can choose to have a credit card auto drafted each month for an additional $5/month.
Question: What is the minimum age to workout?
Answer: Age Access to Parental Involvement Required
3 mos – 10 years Kids Club Parent(s) must remain onsite working out or participating in an Opti-Life program.
16-17years Fitness Floor Parent must accompany any youth between the ages of 16-17 anywhere in Opti-Life
18+ All Areas None
Question: How do your lockers work?
Answer: Lockers are free for you to use while working out. Lockers have built in locks. When you leave the gym, we ask that you take all personal belongings with you. All Lockers will be emptied at the close of business and belongings will be placed in lost and found.
Question: Do you offer group exercise classes?
Answer: Yes, you can find our group exercise schedule on our website or on the Opti-Life app. All of our Group X, Opti-Fit, Cycle, Tread X, Yoga, Mat Pilates, and Barre classes are included in all membership levels.
Question: What kind of memberships do you offer?
Answer: We offer several levels of membership, the ability to add on additional family members, as well as rates for seniors, active service military personnel & spouses, 1st responders (EMT, firefighters, police officers) & spouses.
Question: Can I freeze my membership?
Answer: We do allow medical freezes for up to 6 months. A membership freeze form must be filled out, accompanied with a physician note, and turned into guest services. You will not be charged during this time. To reactivate your account simply stop by membership services to do so.
Question: Is your Fit Body Consultation Fee mandatory?
Question: Yes, the fee is mandatory. We highly encourage every member to go through the Fit Body Consultation, so they have accurate knowledge on their current fitness level. This will also walk them through the opportunity to work directly with an Opti-Life Fitness Coach to develop goals based on their current aspirations.
Question: Do I have to sign a contract?
Answer: No, you only sign a membership agreement that indicates you will pay promptly any charges you accrue on your account and that you are aware of our policies regarding payment and cancellation.
Question:Can I upgrade/downgrade my membership?
Answer: Yes, this can be done a maximum of two times per year, by filling out a membership change form with a membership coordinator. The change will take place immediately unless there is a billing limitation; in which case, the change will be effective the first of the following month. Prorated charges may apply.
