This workshop will begin with a brief overview of how our bodies respond to stress and why that impacts our fertility.
We will then move into an active practice. The poses focus on opening the hips, increasing energy in the reproductive organs, and stimulating the endocrine system (the system that regulates our hormones).
We will end with a focus on reducing stress. We practice restorative yoga poses to stimulate the “relaxation response” and increase circulation in the reproductive organs. There is no flexibility or physical effort required, all the poses are completely supported with bolsters and blankets. We also do some breath work and guided meditations. Everything we do is focused on creating a healthy welcoming environment within your body, one that welcomes new life.

“I have referred ladies to Pam’s Yoga for Fertility classes for years, and witnessed MANY successful pregnancies!! I would hardily recommend anyone considering pregnancy to take this class. The skills you will learn, you will use for a lifetime! My second advice is sign up EARLY!!”
