Join Jeana, from Little Rabbit Yoga Studio, for a workshop dedicated to giving you the tools and knowledge to start restoring your core! This workshop is for anyone experiencing diastasis recti, pelvic floor issues, incontinence, the “mommy pooch”, period discomfort, back pain, digestion issues, and has given birth within the last year. Restoring the core is more than just creating a flat tummy or “6 pack” of abs, but rather a full body approach that aims to restore the stability, mobility, and integrity of your core. If you’ve tried multiple workout programs/diets and had no success, this workshop will teach you why those previous efforts have failed and how to restore your core without doing a single crunch. Yes, you’ll really say good-bye to crunches, sit-ups, v-ups, and other boring traditional ab exercises. During this two hour workshop, you’ll learn how to complete self-assessments, adjust your alignment, core exercises that will actually benefit you, how your breath and pelvic floor play an important role in restoring your core, and more! The workshop includes a yoga practice with simple and easy to follow adjustments, cues, and individually tailored instructions as needed. No previous yoga experience is required to attend. 

BIOGRAPHY:

Jeana started practicing yoga back in 2015, while she was pregnant with her first daughter, Alice. After giving birth to Alice two months early, she turned back to yoga to help heal from postpartum depression. The rest is history. She completed her 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training in 2017 and opened her traveling studio, Little Rabbit Yoga Studio, that's allowed her to travel and share the practice of yoga with others. When she discovered she was expecting her second daughter, Norah, she was reminded that the same resources she so desperately needed during her first pregnancy were still nowhere to be found. She's dedicated countless hours of continuing education to gathering the knowledge and resources to specialize in teaching women how to combine their divine feminine energy and yoga practice to put the power to transform their daily lives back into their own hands. She teaches students the tools to reestablish their pelvic floor, restore their core, in addition to providing yoga-centered postpartum support. She's passionate about helping students create balance, sustainable practices, and living yoga both on and off the mat.
